19:30 = “Osama,” directed by Siddiq Barmak, 2003, 83 minutes / “Osama, the first film made in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban, is bitterly honest, deeply disturbing, and utterly worth watching in its depictions of the extreme challenges women faced in that country, and is of course timely once again – unfortunately.”
