Astronomy on Tap: Women in Astronomy
Xenon
March 8th is International Women's Day, where we celebrate women's achievements, especially in areas where they have historically struggled, and think about what to work towrads to in the future. And Astronomy has had its own problems with recognizing women's work in astronomy.

Together with Kvinder in Fysik (KiF), on March 9th, we will have presentations from The 2020 KiF Prize winner Irene Tamborra, and former KiF Chairwoman, Anja Andersen. They will tell us about their research, and their careers.

Irene studies Neutrinos, which are ghostly particles which can teach us about what happened inside bigger stars as they die. Anja studies cosmic dust which fills the universe and will become stars and planets.
